Life

I was walking down the hall today and a teacher looked at me and said, "Tessa you seem to gave a glow about you lately!" I thought it was an interesting comment, but I took it as a compliment. Really my life is pretty great right now. And I hope that when my life is going well that it will show in me. I hope it will show in my smile, my behavior, my dress and so forth. On the other hand...if life is kind of terrible I hope that never shows through!

I also think that that extra bit of glow is from the sun tan I got on Saturday. I decided that I needed a weekend away. I am a little sick of travel to far away lands, so me and my friend took a retreat to her parents farm house in the distant Midway. It was much needed and appreciated. On our mini retreat we decided that we would not use our cars. Rather, we road bike cruise around all day. It was wonderful. The weather was perfect and these bikes allow you to sit upright and relax. As we were riding around we reflected upon our lives and decided we were planted in the really really really good soil (no rocks for us!). I realize that there is so much I do not appreciate in my life, but in moments of true gratitude for the things I do appreciate I realize how blessed I really am. I realize that I should always have a glow about me. I want to always be excited about life and making it all I can. My life really is amazing!

I wish I was glowing with a new suntan that my ghost-like appearence is in desperate need of!
A compliment indeed Tessa. It's not everyday that someone tells you that you glow.
Moments of true reflection somehow seem to help us reacquaint the body and soul. You can find something truly important in an ordinary moment. And yes, you are blessed and lucky and so am I! Thanks for the reminder to show on the outside how blessed I feel on the inside!
Beach cruisers, friends, sun-tans. Sounds heavenly!

Hi Cousin,

I can't believe you have a blog!! I'm jealous of the glowing tan. Being 7 months pregnant, I don't really feel like getting out and working on a tan myself. I lost your number, so call or email me some time.
